I collaborated with Japanese porcelain artisans on a range go porcelain pins. This involved creating a series of graphic illustrations for the range inspired by Japan and the porcelain town of Kihara, Japan to tell the story of porcelain.
I was commissioned by Mulberry to create their Chinese New Year, Lunar New Year Campaign. Working with their in-house digital team on illustrative elements which were then made into gifs and little animations for their social media platforms, Instagram, WeChat and website.
The iconic red, white and blue laundry bag originated from Hong Kong in the 1960s and has become to represent Hong Kong culture. The nylon canvas used to make the bags was invented in Japan and originally used as shelter for construction sites and as protection for farmland. They were only made in blue and white at first. then red was added to the fabric to represent luck and fortune.

Wagashi is a traditional Japanese confectionary. It is often served with tea. These sweets are usually made out of plant-based ingredients. After having taken part in a wagashi making workshop in Japan last year, I wanted to illustrate a wide variety of these specialist sweets.
